Harnessing the power of storytelling
The stories gathered from women on their experiences with systemic barriers will go into a report to a committee. The committee meets monthly and it goes through every story to identify what specific barriers blocked each woman’s advancement.
From there, they will make a list of recommendations on how the Greater Saint John municipalities and communities can do better to prevent the same story from happening again in the future.
These recommendations will form the backbone of the committee’s action plan, which will focus on removing the systemic barriers that hinder the social and economic prosperity of women in the Greater Saint John area.
